Developer Floats New Apartment Idea

North West developer Floating Concepts is to showcase its floating apartment in Liverpool today. It intends this to be the first step in a network of waterborne communities, which will one day include businesses, retail and leisure facilities. Chief Executive David Beard said: "Floating homes pioneer a common sense approach to the issues faced by conventional developers. Our aim is to help developers, landowners and the public sector maximise the potential of 'bluefield' land."
